Marge Leatherman Foster |
Marjorie Ann “Margie” Foster, 82, of Ottumwa, entered into Heaven’s gates November 1, 2023 after a battle with lung cancer Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Margie was the first born child to Paul H. and Margaret Walter Leatherman on April 25, 1941. A 1959 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Margie had worked for United Parcel Service in Ottumwa as a service clerk, taking in and preparing customer packages for delivery for over 30 years. Margie called everyone “honey.” Surviving are her children, Kerry (Patti) Foster of Corinth, TX, Terry Foster of Branson, MO, Sherry (Scott) McMillen of Ottumwa and Richard “DJ” Foster of Ottumwa; 10 grandchildren; numerous beloved great-grandchildren; and siblings, Larry (Gwen) Leatherman of Ottumwa, Karlene (Norm) Gannon of Springfield, MO and Rosemary (Phil) Benjamin of Ottumwa. Her body has been cremated. A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
